Genshin Impact 4.6 Release Date

Version 4.6 of Genshin Impact is set to arrive on April 24th, 2024.

Arlecchino

As 4.6 centers around the House of the Hearth, it makes sense that its ruler Arlecchino is the new character being introduced to the game. Called "Father" by the children, she is a strict overseer with plenty of secrets to uncover. Arlecchino is the first playable character in Genshin Impact to use the Bond of Life mechanic.

New Story Quests

A new story quest is being added with the launch of 4.6:

• Ignis Purgatorius Chapter: Act I
  • In this quest, you'll unveil the history of Arlecchino and learn more about the House of the Hearth
• Lupus Aureus Chapter: Act II Story Quest

Focused Experience Mode is also being introduced, which is a toggleable feature which minimizes interruptions, improving the story experience as you explore the new content.

4.6 Phase 1 Banner

The featured 5-Star Characters receiving boosts for Phase 1 of 4.6 are the new Arlecchino, and the returning Lyney.

New Weapon

The featured 5-Star weapon for Phase 1 of 4.6 is the new Crimson Moon's Semblance Polearm.

4.6 Phase 2 Banner

The featured 5-Star Characters receiving boosts for Phase 2 of 4.6 are the returning Wanderer and Baizhu.

The Knave - New Weekly Boss

Arlecchino is also a new Weekly boss that players can challenge. She will set a Blood-Debt Directive on you, causing you to suffer from the Bond of Life effect, sustaining more damage from her attacks and being unable to be healed. However, should you manage to repay the debt, you'll be rewarded with a boost to your Charged Attack.

This is arriving in conjunction with the Quick Challenge feature. Though the Knave's boss form is tied to Arlecchino's story quest, as long as you are Rank 40 or higher, you'll be able to challenge the Knave (or other Weekly bosses) directly by going to the Adventurer Handbook, going to the Domain tab, select Trounce Domains, and then select Quick Challenge.

4.6 New Artifact Sets

Two new Artifact sets will become available in 4.6:

• Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy
• Unfinished Reverie

New Area

The Undersea Capital, the Lost Homeland of Remuria dwells deep within the Sea of Bygone Eras, and can be explored via the small island of Petrichor. So long as you have completed the third act of the Archon Quest: Song of the Dragon and Freedom will automatically unlock a teleport waypoint within the village of Petrichor. A similar waypoint feature has also been promised for future new areas, expediting your adventure into the new content.

Adventure with a talking cat to explore Remuria's ruins underwater, uncovering the history of the kingdom. Unlock special abilities related to the Symphony to interact with specific items and solve various puzzles. The promise has also been made that you can meet a special dragon within the watery depths, as well as face off against the Legatus Golem boss enemy.

New Boss

The Statue of Marble and Brass/Legatus Golem is a colossal centaur-like being that you'll need to face within the Faded Castle as you explore the depths of Remuria.

Iridescent Arataki Rockin' For Life Tour De Force of Awesomeness

On Watatsumi Island, you'll be tasked with helping Itto to prepare for the Rockin' For Life Tour De Force of Awesomeness performance, participating in a new rhythm game event in the process.

There are 3 steps you'll need to complete in order to prepare for the festival:

• Extreme Carnival Ensemble - Minigames to help practice for the performance
• Trillion Trinket Trawl - Gather materials to spruce up the environment
• Meeting of Melodies - Invite music-lovers to the festival, restoring lost musical notes

Take part in this musical rock-and-roll event to earn the following rewards:

• Nightwind Horn - New instrument
• Canine Warrior Gorou - Meet criteria to invite the character
• Various materials

Windtrace: Seekers and Strategy

This Hide and Seek game has been revamped. A key update is that if you get caught twice, you're permanently removed from the game. Hunters stop Rebels from repairing one of the 6 signalling devices, which are highlighted on the map as Rebels begin to repair them. If Rebels repair 4 of these devices, they win the match. Hunters will need to prevent the repairs, or simply eliminate all Rebels to secure victory.

Specially-Shaped Saurian Search

In this event, an eccentric chef returning from Natlan wants to befriend various dangerous creatures and needs your help. The activity has the following difficulties:

• Normal
• Hard
• Fearless

You can change number of negotiation strategies, and by reducing them you'll increase the difficulty as you confront these creatures in an attempt to quell them.

Vibro Crystal Applications

Connect Transmitter and Receiver Crystals to determine buffs and augments, with different harmonic effects to experiment with as you face off against a variety of enemies.

Serenetea Pot Optimizations

The following optimizations have been made to the Serenetea Pot:

• The Quick Obtain function for Replicas and missing Furnishings from Furnishing Sets has been added
• Discounts for certain Furnishings and Furnishing Blueprints in the Realm Depot, and increases the purchase limit of some items in the Furnishings Shop
• Optimizes the Create Furnishing module and increased the maximum number of Creation Queues
• Adds the flitering and search functions to the Realm Depot's Furnishing and Furnishing Blueprints tabs
• Optimizes the Realm music interface

Avatar System Optimization

You'll now be able to use more portraits of your friends as your profile display, with more options than ever before.

Treasure Compass Updates

Markers will now be displayed on both maps, and the compasses will include more information about different map layers!
