It's transfer deadline day as Premier League clubs aim to make some late signings.
A number of Premier League clubs are expected to make one last dash before knuckling down for the months ahead. That includes Arsenal, who are attempting to get a goalkeeper over the line. The Gunners have agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Neto from Bournemouth.
Another player they have been linked with is Raheem Sterling but his hopes of leaving Chelsea have been hit with a big blow.
Manchester United are expected to confirm the signing of Manuel Ugarte but it remains to be seen whether he is able to make his debut vs Liverpool. There could also be an exit for Jadon Sancho, who has been linked with Chelsea.
Outgoings are also possible at Liverpool and Chelsea, who seemingly haven't ruled out a late swoop for Victor Osimhen. But a deal for Ivan Toney appears unlikely after he decided to move to Saudi Arabia.

Ex-Arsenal man criticised Sterling loan
Petit - a Premier League with with Arsenal in 1998 - is unsure why the Gunners opted to bring in Sterling, even on loan, suggesting he has been on the decline in recent years.
He told Safest Casino Sites: "Since Sterling left Liverpool, he hasn't improved a whole lot at Manchester City and Chelsea. Sterling can have big moments but there is no consistency in his performances. He still needs to improve his final ball and needs to score more, this is the main problem.
“This is something that Mikel Arteta will not want in his team, he wants young and hungry players, Sterling won't improve more than another young winger."

Turner to the Eagles

Sterling rejected huge Saudi offer
Raheem Sterling rejected a stunning £650,000-a-week offer from Saudi Arabia to join Arsenal on loan from Chelsea.
The incredible package for the England winger, 29, would have more than doubled his current £300,000-a-week salary. But Sterling held out for a move to Arsenal and placed helping the Gunners to become champions over cash. He also retains his own, long-term ambitions to make it back into the Three Lions fold for the 2026 World Cup.

Osimhen in a difficult spot
Victor Osimhen finds himself in limbo as he waits to see whether a move to Saudi Arabia can save him from the cold in Napoli.
The Nigerian had been among the most sought after strikers in Europe following several prolific years in Italy, but his fortunes have turned on their head in recent months. The arrival of Antonio Conte at Napoli has changed the dial with the new manager bringing in Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
The Belgian is now set to command the No 9 role in Naples with Osimhen snubbed in the early weeks of the season. Chelsea had been linked with a move for the striker but walked away from negotiations with the English transfer window now closed.
There are just days to run on the Saudi market with Al-Ahli thought to be keen on Osimhen - whose only route out on Napoli now appears to be in the Middle East. However Al-Ahli have just completed a £40million swoop for Ivan Toney and may now call time on their recruitment.

Broja did previously impress during a loan spell at Southampton and the Toffees will hope to unlock his potential.

Toney completes £40 Saudi switch
Ivan Toney has completed his move to Al-Ahli for £40million after a summer-long search for a new club.
The former Brentford frontman was winding down his contract and the Bees were resgiend to his sale with several Premier League outfits linked with the England international. Despite admiring glances from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United no bids came forward.
It opened the door for the Saudi Pro League side to pounce and they secured his services after Toney had undergone a medical in London. The striker will now earn huge annual sums in the Middle East as he called time on his spell in west London.

Slot reflects on Reds activity
Chiesa is through the door and will bolster the forward line at Anfield whilst goalkeeper Mamardashvili has been loaned back to Valencia - which Slot insists is all part of the plan.
He said: "Chiesa can help us for the short-term and Mamardashvili is an example of what this club did very well in the past of looking (after) the long-term future. And that is why we signed him."

Sterling the other big mover - heading to Arsenal
Raheem Sterling last night completed a sensational loan move to Arsenal after a dramatic transfer merry-go-round.
Chelsea outcast Sterling, 29, found an 11th-hour escape route with Arsenal as Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson were also on the move.
Sancho agreed a move from Manchester United to Chelsea on a season-long loan move while Nelson agreed terms with Fulham. That paved the way for Sterling to leave Chelsea and complete a season-long loan move to Arsenal.
Sterling had been told he has no further at Chelsea and was facing a season on the sidelines not being part of boss Enzo Marcesca’s plans.

Sancho heading to Chelsea - who will sign him next summer
Jadon Sancho has officially completed his deadline day loan move from Man Utd to Chelsea with the Blues also having the obligation to buy the winger next summer.
The England international had been tipped for an exit from Old Trafford for much of the summer after falling out of favour under Erik ten Hag last season and being sent on loan to Dortmund - three years after arriving at the club for £73million with big expectations.
Sancho's stock rose again after performing admirably with the Bundesliga side and now Chelsea have opted to bring him to Stamford Bridge, with the club reportedly having an obligation to purchase the winger for between £20million - £25m.
